Wrekmeister Harmonies
JR Robinson and Esther Shaw have been the creative heart of Wrekmeister Harmonies since 2014. Through their various collaborators and incarnations (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Thor Harris, Ryley Walker, The Body, Einstürzende Neubauten) they have remained the constant pulse of the band as well as co-owners of Coptic Light Coffee. The past year has seen the duo perform as openers for bands as diverse as doom merchants Bell Witch to gothic folk enchanter Marissa Nadler in both the US and Europe. This tour will be their first as headliners with the duo performing material from 2016’s critically acclaimed Thrill Jockey release Light Falls as well as previewing material from their forthcoming release The Alone Rush. Not to be missed.
